We are blessed to be so close to the marvelous Delamere Forest the largest forest in the north‑west. Delamere means 'Forest of the Lakes' and within the woodland there are plenty of lakes to wander around.
If you are driving there are plenty of options for parking lots of lay‑bys and a few free car parks are also available. Alternatively parking at the visitors centre will put you next to the café and visitor information centre , an easy place to navigate back to after a walk if your sense of direction isn’t the best. The parking is done on number plate recognition and can be paid on a card its £2 for an hour, £4 for 3 hours
All day £6 hire available, there is a charge for parking at this car park however it is brand‑new with tarmac unlike the potholed layby & car park previously mentioned.
